Switzerland is known for its watch making and not forgetting its delicious chocolate. European cultures meet , and white snow makes way for stunning flora and fauna during the summer months.
High mountain tops with eternal snow, trickling mountain brooks, narrow mountain paths and green alpine meadows. This is idyllic Switzerland. The terrain varies from the relatively flat midland in the north, the wooded and hilly Jura in the west and the Alps characterized by glaciers, waterfalls and mountain crevices. We recommend a train ride, taking the famous Glacier Express between Brig and Chur.
The surroundings of Saas Grund are also very popular. From here you can visit the trendy town of Saas Fee or take a boat trip through the caves of St. Leonard or maybe visit Zermatt with views of the famous Matterhorn mountain. The beautiful city of Geneva is where you will find L'Horloge Fleurie, which changes colour up to eight times per season. Lake Geneva is a must visit where there is a fountain around 140 metres at its highest point..... truly breathtaking!
