Holiday in Umbria

Holiday in Umbria

Beautiful towns of Umbria where time seems to have stood still...

The vast rolling landscape has numerous atmospheric historic villages, towns and beautiful lakes. A holiday in Umbria has it all. So what are you waiting for?

History....

Umbria is known as the green heart of Italy. Travel  through the rolling landscape of the  Tuscany region and enter Umbria, you see that rivers, forests, lakes, waterfalls and hilly landscapes have hardly been affected by the modern world. Great historical sights around the area are to be found - where time seems to have stood still!

Lake Trasimeno

Lake Trasimeno is a lovely place to stay. The 128 km2 large lake is ideally situated between the hills of Tuscany and Umbria, making it a  great place to get out in nature and try your hand at walking, relaxing, cycling, horseriding and sailing. From Passignano you can catch a boat to Isola Maggiore, one of the three beautiful islands on the lake. Castiglione del Lago is the capital of the lake and is well worth a visit.
