Would you like to spend a holiday in Italy, but without mass tourism? Then the Lago d'Iseo is the perfect destination for a carefree holiday in the sun. What are you waiting for?
Lake Iseo is less famous than Lake Como and Lake Garda, but still offers great facilities for swimmers, hikers and campers. Iseo, the largest city on the lake, is sunny and warm. From here you can leave for the beautiful hills of Franciacorta, where the wine is excellent!
From Lake Iseo, you can easily reach the cities of Brescia, Bergamo and Rovato. But the highlight of the lake is the beautiful Monte Isola, the largest island lake in Italy. Wherever you go, you'll see this beautiful green island on the horizon. The small lake village of Peschiera Maraglio is one of the hundred most beautiful villages in Italy. A boat trip to this gem should not be missed during your holiday!

We recommend a ferry trip to Monte Isola, the largest lake island in Italy and the highest in Europe. It reaches 600 feet in height. Do not miss the historic centre of Peschiera Maraglio and authentic Carzano. The time has stopped here, well it seems that way!
The market Rovato, started as a cattle market, is still very popular. In the square you can still eat excellent quality meat. The restaurants Trattoria del Gallo and Two Doves are highly recommended!
The Long Lake Iseo is full of shops and boutiques, but if you're looking for more, the centre of Brescia lacks nothing. Here, every second Sunday of the month there is an antiques market in Piazza Vittoria.
The Pyramids of erosion zone phenomena are one of nature's most curious and interesting ‘Vallecamonica’ and are deep in Lake Iseo. These strange rocks reach up to 30m in height and are shaped by the erosive action of the water.
