The North Sea beach is more than 60km long and there are countless pleasant resorts in South Holland where you can entertain yourself endlessly in the water or on the terrace. The most beautiful beaches can be found at Noordwijk and Katwijk. Scheveningen has a cosy boulevard which is very lively and the prestigious Kurhaus has many shops, an aquarium and a picturesque harbour district.

Flowers and culture

From Leiden you drive through the scenic sights, wonderful brightly coloured flower fields! On to the Keukenhof in Lisse and for culture get down to Delft and The Hague, where it is steeped in the history of the Dutch royal family. 'Cosmopolitan' Rotterdam with that imposing skyline and modern architecture is a must. Also try to see the beautiful historic towns of Dordrecht and Gouda.
