The small, charming apartment complex consists of several white buildings which house around 35 newly renovated apartments.

Far away from the hustle and bustle of the big city, you will find peace and relaxation. Discover the idyll of Montejaque by taking a small walk through the narrow alleyways.
Explore the beauty of the surrounding natural landscape by going hiking in the nearby mountains. Experience the friendliness and warmth of the village inhabitants or enjoy staying at home in your rustically Andalusian-styled apartment.

Recreation at the Casas de Montejaque:

In the centre of Casas de Montejaque lies a garden area with a beautiful swimming pool that is wonderfully lit up at night.

Sun loungers are set up on the lawn for sunbathing at the side of the pool. Under the sun shade you can read a good book or have a little snooze. The restaurants and bars are easily reached after a short five-minute walk. There is also a small supermarket nearby that sells food and soft drinks. You can inform yourself about the variety of activities on offer in the region at the reception of Casas de Montejaque. Example activities include horse riding, walking tours, climbing, ballooning, bird watching and even painting courses.

Available accommodation at the Casas de Montejaque.

The Casas de Montejaque consist of a variety of furnished apartments that are suitable for 2 or 4 people. Each apartment has a balcony or a terrace with a stunning view of the surrounding mountains.

The area surrounding Casas de Montejaque

Montejaque is a typical Andalusian village located in the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park. This is one of the greenest natural parks in the whole of Andalusia, which also boasts a colony of griffon vultures. The diverse landscape, with its wide range of flora and fauna and the impressive rock formations of the limestone mountains, is the perfect place to go hiking. Discover secret grottos with cave paintings and underground rivers. Be inspired to discover more at the local museum.

Furthermore, Montejaque belongs to the ”White Towns of Andalusia” (the Ruta de los Pueblos Blancos), which run right through Andalusia. These villages, characterised by whitewashed houses and narrow alleys, were built by the Moors and partly date back to the 8th century. The mountain top city of Ronda also belongs to the White Villages. The local sights include the historic old town (‘Ciudad Vieja’), the church Santa María la Mayor as well as the ‘Puente Nuevo’ Bridge that is situated above an 80 metre deep gorge that runs right through the middle of the city.
