Short distances

Slovenia is a relatively small country and has several very picturesque landscapes such as: charming vineyards, verdant landscapes but also spectacular underground caves. Slovenia is characterized by beautiful city. Ptuj for example, one of the oldest, is located on the river Drava. Do not forget your camera because very many things will be photographed! Especially the coastal cities, which are reminiscent of the Venetian style. Walking through the narrow streets of Koper and Piran, or visit ancient churches and large merchant houses, not to be missed! Ljubljana, has Italian and Austrian influences and is characterized by many museums and places of interest.

Culinary Delights

Pohorska omelette

3 eggs, 2 egg yolks, 70 g sugar, 1 sachet of vanilla sugar, lemon zest (1 lemon), 30 g of white flour, 20 g of butter, 100 g cranberries, canned, 10 g of sugar, 100 ml of whipped cream.

Beat the egg whites until stiff and gradually add 50 g of sugar. Add 2 egg yolks, vanilla sugar, lemon zest and flour. Mix everything together making sure not to leave lumps. Grease a round baking pan and dust it with flour. Pour the mixture into the pan and bake in the oven. Once you have finished cooking, add the blueberries to the hot surface. Fold the omelet in half and garnish with powdered sugar and whipped cream.
