To the west, high mountains adorn the landscape of Le Marche. Here are the Apennine Mountains, with the highest point of Mount Carrier, at 2476 meters. Walkers are in luck, because this mountain is located in the Parco Nazionale dei Monti Sibillini.
A walk through the resort, cross the valleys bloom, limestone peaks, gorges and plateaus. Very rarely do you get to a village.
Do you enjoy hiking? Then an organised excursion to the highest peaks, starting from Rifugio Fargno, at 1800 meters. If you are lucky you will be able to see even a golden eagle.

For a day of culture, we recommend that the city of Urbino, situated on a hill 485 meters above sea level and within easy reach of tourist villages. Here was born the Renaissance painter Raphael. The old town, enclosed by fortified walls and built entirely in baked brick, is on the list of UNESCO World Heritage. The Palazzo Ducale, the XV century, houses the Galleria Nazionale delle Marche. The numerous works: paintings on wood and canvas, murals, sculptures in stone and terracotta, furniture, tapestries, drawings and engravings, will keep you busy for a while.
