Nature, Culture and Leisure

The Loire-Anjou-Touraine Regional Nature Reserve is perfect for long hikes, biking tours and horse riding.
You can rent bikes directly from the reception where friendly staff will gladly inform you about horse riding possibilities in the area. Explore the stunning Loire valley and visit some of the many historic Châteaux in the region.

The towns of Chinon and Saumur are worth a trip as well as the Futuroscope theme park near Politiers.

Good cuisine

France is well known for its delicious cuisine. You can get all the fresh ingredients to rustle up a meal from the regional markets or the supermarkets in Richelieu. You can also dine out in the resort’s own Le Mazarin restaurant which will spoil you with the newest menus designed personally by the head chef.

Fantastic wine

The Val de Loire wine-growing region stretches out for several hundred kilometres along the Loire River. In the vineyards of Anjou, Saumur and Touraine, the gripes ripen for excellent appellations. The vineyards warmly welcome guests to have a look around and most offer wine tasting sessions. Make sure to leave some space in the boot of your car so that you can take one or two bottles of wine home with you!
