Family camping directly by the beach
You can walk directly to the beach from your mobile home. The Playa de Ris is uniquely shaped like. When the tide is out, the sea is so far back that the beach stretches out to around four thousand square metres.
As soon as the tide returns, the waves create ideal conditions for surfers. A nearby sports school offers special courses and has all the necessary equipment available to rent. A coastal walkway starts very near the holiday park along which you can walk all the way to Trengandín beach. The route passes by lots of small beaches, so-called ‘Calas’, that lie hidden between towering cliffs. Punta de la Mesa and Playa de Pombera are particularly beautiful and idyllic.
Recreation at the holiday park
In addition to the superb location in a unique natural landscape, the Playa Joyel Campsite has a vast range of leisure activities on offer. Whoever enjoys being active on holiday can get more than their money’s worth at this Spanish holiday park. Knock a few balls around on the tennis court, play a game of table tennis or boules or put your paddle-tennis skills to the test. The sports field is suitable for football, volleyball and basketball. Teenagers can have fun in the disco whilst their younger siblings conquer the Miniclub. There is a swimming pool with separate paddling pool if you fancy taking a refreshing dip. A particular highlight is the campsite’s own petting zoo. Here you can find cows, bulls, ducks, small goats, piglets, peacocks, chickens, ostriches and many other different kinds of animal that are native to the region. This children-friendly holiday resort has everything you need to ensure a relaxing family holiday.
The Spanish Costa Verde is known for its delicious culinary specialities. In the nearby town of Noja, as well as in the villages of Isla and Santona, there is a diverse range of restaurants to choose from. If you would like to use the kitchen in your mobile home to cook for yourself, you can get everything you need in the campsite’s supermarket including fresh vegetables and drinks.
