nothing - its too far away from everywhere to get around easily and public transport is poor, would be brilliant if transport was put on by the parkSuggestions
too big, no welcoming feel/atmosphere just another touorist
Populonia, lovely old fort with good tavern and sea views. San Vicenzo is like Blackpool in the sun. Nearby beach was no good, loads of seaweed and gritty sand, only went once.Suggestions
See previous remarks, disgusting smell of sewage, not resolved, ruined our holiday. We also had a very cramped corner plot next to a street light. Other people had plots next to the bins!
It was well organised, clean with lots of facilities for the kidsTips for surrounding area
Beaches around Barrati and Pisa
Lots of pleasant scenery and easy access to the local amenitiesSuggestions
We found the camp site staff unhelpful scruffy, the bar and restaurant staff looked dirty and unkempt managers looked like tramps and all very unappealing and unwelcoming. Some of the bar staff require training as they did not know what some of rules, or made there own up at different time.
wonderful, relaxing holiday - no problems or issues at all, the only problem we had was a blown lightbulb - replaced immediately :)Tips for surrounding area

Camp pools brilliant very clean. Restaurants excellent food very good and reasonable priced! Supermarket very good! Pubs nice and relaxing!
Everything that you need is available on site. Plenty for children to do and loads of entertainment at night. Supermarket was not too highly priced and swimming areas were spotless and well looked after, lifeguards always visible and presentTips for surrounding area
Did not leave the campsite to explore the area as we were very happy to stay on site
Park Albatros itself was fantastic. There was great facitities and we all had a fantastic time. We didn't leave the park for the week. Everything was there that we could want, great variety of activities, places to eat or shop, and the park was very well kept.Suggestions
I travelled with my husband and 4 children aged between 7 & 10. Our flight times were changed a couple of weeks before the holidays. As a result, we didn't arrive until midnight. The man at reception was very nice. However, there was nobody there from SelectCamp to meet us. I arrived on time at the Selectcamp information point the following morning to check in. I had to wait 10 mintues past the opening time before somebody arrived. I was supposed to have my passport details with me at that time but I didn't as I was not informed beforehand. Furthermore, our departure date was also changed to fly from Pisa at 10:30pm. I spoke to a very nice girl from Selectcamp during the week of our stay. When I explained our situation, she offered that we could stay in the accomodation for a few hours longer until perhaps early afternoon. However, I spoke with another of your staff the day before and she said that we definitely had to be out by 10am. Your staff arrived at exactly 10am on the day we checked out. We had alot of baggage with 4 children as well as seperate bags packed for our children with all the stuff they required for the day (with no base). We couldn't manage it all and were told that we would have to leave our baggage on the side of the road outside the accodomation for at least an hour before someone could help us. This was unacceptable. Luckily a kind man staying beside us had a car and transported our baggage to behind the information point. I would recommend a better place to store baggage.
All went very smoothly. Select camp staff were friendly on arrival and departure, did not encounter them any other time as we had no issues. Campsite staff in shops and restaurants etc were quite rude and abrupt. Animation staff were very friendlyTips for surrounding area
