The pitches on the campsite are grass bases and with the typical Tuscan trees including pine, eucalyptus, tamarind and olive - create a canopy of cool shade. A wide range of facilities such as a swimming pool, restaurant, supermarket and children's playground will help make your holiday complete.

The campsite is located near the 17th century seaside resort of Vada, which has a lively and quaint old centre that is wonderful to visit in the summer months. A little further along are the famous cities of Siena, Firenze, Pisa and Rome. The campsite is very clean and well maintained, it's very close to the beach. The pool is really nice. If you are people that go to bed early, around 1030pm, then expect to hear rather a lot of noise from the neighbouring campsite disco for a few hours. There is also a fairly noisey road running parallel with the campsite. Unfortunately what has left me feeling rather disappointed is to learn that only the foreign tourists are charged 10% service charge on their restaurant bills. The Italians are only charged a cover charge per person. This is wrong, this campsite earns a great deal of revenue from the foreign tourists so should not discriminate against them.

Tips for surrounding area

There are some pretty little villages close by. The beach is right night to the campsite, but you need to walk towards Vada to get the really lovely clear water.
