Directly by the sea
Camping La Côte Sauvage is located on a very special location, namely on a beautiful island! Île de Ré, nicknamed the white island, is also one of the sunniest destinations in France.
With direct access to the beach, this campsite is a nice place to relax, have fun and enjoy with your family. Bring freshly baked rolls to the bread service in the morning and eat them in peace on your terrace. Enough energy to start the day? The children like to race on a go-kart on the terrain and live out in the playground. At a beach campsite a beach volleyball field should not be missed.
Sea, beach and sports The most special thing about Camping La Côte Sauvage is of course the beautiful location on Île de Ré with direct access to the beach. Bake brown on your beach towel or finally 'learn to surf' from your bucket list. On Île de Ré you can find many surf schools! Something too high? Jeu de Boulen or table tennis is also possible. You become hungry from all that sport, so treat yourself to something tasty from the snack bar.
île de Ré and La Rochelle! Île de Ré has excellent bike paths so rent a bike and experience nature from coast to swamp area and from picturesque village to oyster farm. Also stop at Fort de la Prée from the 17th century where there are regular exhibitions. The most beautiful villages of the island are Saint-Martin-de-Ré, Ars and Ré, La Flotte and Sainte Marie de Ré. They are striking because of the typical white houses and there are often markets and traditional activities.
