Fantastic swimming pools and water slides

Côte de Nacre Campsite Fantastic swimming pools and water slidesThe Côte de Nacre Campsite is an ideal starting point for exploring the beautiful region of Normandy. The seaside town of Saint-Aubin-sur-Mer lies behind Juno Beach ─ one of the most historically significant beaches of the twentieth century.

Both Juno and the neighbouring Sword Beach were important locations during the Allied invasion that took place on June 6th 1944 as part of Operation Overlord. Nowadays these broad beaches are stunning natural landscapes that are perfectly suited for peaceful walks and relaxing. The boulevard at Saint-Aubin offers a panoramic view of the sea and is the perfect place for a romantic walk in the evening when the street lights are turned on and the atmosphere is almost magical.

Care-free fun in the water

The Côte de Nacre Campsite is a true swimmer’s paradise with three heated pools, an additional covered pool, four water slides and rapids. For keen swimmers who just can’t get enough, the English Channel with its many beaches is the perfect place to spend a day by the open sea. Explore the nearby area by renting bikes, or take a trip to Ross where a neighbouring horse riding school organises group rides. Fancy a game of tennis, billiard or boules? Then you’re in the right place! Children and teenagers have lots of activities to choose from in the diverse entertainment programme while the whole family can enjoy various evening events.

Holiday in a mobile home

At La Côte de Nacre Campsite you have a choice between four different kinds of mobile home. All accommodations are comfortably furnished and have an outdoor terrace. The fully-equipped kitchen is well-suited to cooking for the whole family.

Culinary delights in Normandy

Normandy is well-known for its multifaceted cuisine, which in addition to meat features fish, seafood and mussels. Furthermore, the climate creates the perfect conditions for growing apples which are then used to make Calvados and cider. The distilleries are open to curious guests and offer tours with opportunities to taste their products. And what about French cheese?! Cheese lovers will immediately think of Camembert, Livarot, Neufchâtel and Pont-l’Évêque, Boursin and Le Coutances. Add some wine and crispy French bread and mmmmmm, delicious! For dessert try a piece of ‘Tarte Tatin’, a kind of apple cake covered with a thin layer of caramel. Book your holiday at La Côte de Nacre Campsite right here with Campingselection!
