Space and privacy in a super green environment
Small-scale, space, forests, lakes, tranquility, French atmosphere ... these are the most important keywords for Camping Le Garoustel in the Auvergne.
Only 100 large pitches have been created on this site. That means space and privacy! The location in a super green area and on a large reservoir makes the picture complete. That will mean peace in France this summer!
Swimming or water sports? Camping Le Garoustel is located on a huge reservoir and has a nice swimming pool that overlooks it. You do not actually have to choose. Rent a boat and sail around on the lake and then cool off in the pool. Do you dive in in 1 time or do you whiz from the slide into the water? The children's club is French-speaking, but they do their utmost to give all children a great holiday. And of course, there is also a nice playground and the oh so French jeu de boules is a great activity! Rest assured, they provide tasty snacks and crêpes at the campsite. Delicious with a lick of Nutella!
Natural beauty and fairytale towns The lake where Camping Le Garoustel is located is called Lac de Saint Etienne and in different places there is all fun to do! How about a water park on the lake with more than 15 inflatable attractions; slides, climbing parramides and trampolines. And only 300 meters from the campsite! You will also find a tree climbing park and a water sports center. A day of culture sniffing should not be missed during your holiday in this part of France. Rocamadour is probably familiar to you of the delicious goat cheese? The city of the same name is certainly no less! The centre is full of streets with shops and alleys leading tochurches. The Chapelle Notre Dame is the holiest place in the city where you can admire one of the few black madonnas in Western Europe. Get the taste? Aurillac and Laroquebrou are two of our tips. The latter is almost fairytale with the red-covered roofs, the balconies with lush flowers and the castle which towers above the town. Do not forget your camera!
