Culinary Delights

Portuguese beef stew

Classic dish with meat and wine

Ingredients: 
750 g of beef, 40 g butter, 2 cloves of garlic, 3 onions, 1 bell pepper, 2 tomatoes, 2 glasses of red wine, 2 tablespoons of dried oregano, 2 tablespoons of fresh parsley (chopped).

Crush the garlic and chop the onion and peppers in to small bits. Cut the meat into 4 equal portions and brown in butter in a frying pan. Fry garlic, onion add the tomatoes, wine and oregano. Bring to a boil, add the meat and cook for about an hour and a half. When cooked, garnish with parsley.
