On the south shore there are many amusement parks, theme parks and water parks. Gardaland is the largest amusement park in Europe with different types of roller coasters and water rides. Caneva has a film studio and a large water park.
The long lake is rich in many high-end boutiques, shops and bars. There are also many shopping malls in the area, such as La Granda Mela in Verona, Desenzano Le Vele and The Lion in Lonato.
