In the summer, more and more tourists choose Lake Como as a holiday destination, given its beautiful alpine setting.
Lake Como is famous all over the world. George Clooney owns two villas here. This is quite understandable thinking about all those gems of villages and towns surrounding the lake.
We recommend that you visit the towns of Varenna, Bellagio, Tremezzo and Menaggio. In the background there are immense forests, flowers, hills and the beautiful Alps.
The northern shore, less touristy, it still retains its wild beaches and is the starting point for many excursions. You can stroll along the lake, take a tour of the lake by ferry or charter a boat.

Splash & Spa Tamaro is the most modern water park in Europe. Around 11 km from Lugano, this park boasts a truly original dome of entertainment and fun for the kids and the dome of well-being for adults. Lots of fun for the kids and relaxation for mum and dad!
Como is the ideal destination for shopping. Along the pedestrian streets you will find shops selling clothes, silk and local products. For the best shoes you have to go in the charming villages of Menaggio and Belaggio.
The Comacina Island, with an area of 7.5 hectares, boasts a glorious past. It is currently owned by the 'Belle Arti di Brera' and still integrates the baroque church of San Giovanni, which contains within it the remains of Roman walls.
The local population uses ingredients that come from both the lake and the mountains. We recommend that you try one of the local specialties: fish soup from Tremezzo, risotto with perch fillets or smoked trout with olive oil or misultin, salted and dried in the sun.
