Noordwijk aan Zee is an internationally known seaside resort town. There is always something going on along the beach promenade and near the lighthouse. Spend a few carefree hours on the terrace of one of the beach cafés and watch the world pass by. Amsterdam, the capital city of the Netherlands, has so much to offer and is a beautiful place to explore with its idyllic canals and interesting markets. You should definitely plan a trip to see the tulips in bloom at Keukenhof gardens in Lisse (only 7km from Amsterdam) if you are there between the end of March and the beginning of May. Other attractions include the Sea Life Centre and Madurodam Model Village in Scheveningen as well as the Duinrell Amusement Park in Wassenaar.
