The wonderful climate, combined with the sea breeze is, linger on your towel on the beach, and if you need some more activities to keep busy, you can find all kinds: swimming, snorkelling, surfing or sailing.. with a sailboat along the beautiful bays and pause occasionally on the beautiful beach.
Almost everywhere you go in Sicily, you can see the impressive, still active Mount Etna. This is surrounded by a beautiful park with vineyards and orchards of olive, pistachio and citrus trees. And everywhere on the island is great history. Look at Piazza Armerina, Syracuse or Monreale Palermo it is a must because of the particular mix of architectural styles. The famous resort of Taormina, where you can eat in very cosy cafe’s and go shopping.

A day in Etnaland. This water park lies at the foot of the volcano and guarantees a fun day of family fun complete with bobsleigh runs, slides and rapids.
There is also a zoo including elephants, llamas and tigers......
In larger cities like Palermo and Catania and in tourist towns like Taormina you can go for the usual modern well known shops. Why not try Centro Sicilia a shopping centre west of Catania where there around 140 shops and a play area for the children.
Noto is a beautiful baroque town, full of beautiful and impressive palaces, churches and other buildings. In addition, you will see many beautiful vistas and gables. The town itself is on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
In the seaside town of Taormina is a Greek amphitheatre, a large part is preserved. From here you have a magnificent view of Mount Etna and the coast. In the evenings, concerts and plays are held.
