You can opt for self catering at the campsite or taste the Spanish cuisine. Try a typical dish like paella or fresh fish. If you do not want to cook there are several bars on site. Whether you go snacking in the bar, or have a drink in the pool bar, or eat the restaurant bar on the rear part of the campsite, there is a variety of choice. The restaurant bar on the terrace under the palm trees on the way to the beach is also a good place to relax and enjoy some good food.
Camping Park Playa Bara is 28 km from the famous city of Tarragona, thesecond largest city in Catalonia. The Romans conquered the Iberian Peninsula more than 2,000 years ago and ehe preserved amphitheatre is a must see. Visit the 27 metre high and 217 metres long Roman Aqueduct located a few kilometres from the campsite . The nearby Roc de Sant Gaieta is a surprisingly quaint fishing village.
At the campsite you can take bus excursions to Barcelona and Montserrat. Also, admission tickets will be sold for the nearby amusement and water parks.
