This campsite is located in Saint-Cyprien Plage, which is a popular Southern French tourist spot with a large marina and numerous shops. One of the recommended day trip destinations is tothe medieval townof Carcassonne. Carcassonne can be reached by car ( about 90 minutes )

Offering a gorgeous swimming paradise with several outdoor pools, a covered pool,children’s paddling pool, water slides, fountains and whirlpools. There is always something going on at the sports field too.It also has a playground,ping-pongtable and a bowlingalley. Camping Le Soleil de la Méditerranée is located in the South of Languedoc-Roussillon region , which is a one of the most popular areas of France. Gently corrugated hills, high mountains of the Pyrenees, the azure coloured Mediterranean Sea, the medieval castle site and picturesque villages are all worth a visit. Travelsouth to Argelès-sur-Mer, Collioure and Port-Vendres or north-west to Perpignan to look at the Saint-Jean-Baptiste cathedral and the fortress-like palace of the kings of Mallorca. Another highlight is a ride along the alpine railroad Ligne de Cerdagne that runs between Villefranche and Latour-de-Carol-Enveitg in the French-Catalonian Pyrenees. The shiny yellow carriages of the Train Jaune travel over several bridges, through tunnels, and atenormous altitude differences of a few hundred meters.
