Camping Le Bois de Pleuven is, as the name suggests, in a green wooded area within a fifteen minute drive from the Breton beach. This family campsite offers everything you desire in a holiday.
Swimming pools, a sports field, entertainment, a minimarket for forgotten groceries and pizzas and takeaway meals if you do not have a puff to cook. Make a trip? Then you will be delighted with the location of Bois de Pleuven between Quimper and Concarneau, this western tip of Brittany, the Finistère (literally, the end of the world) is very beautiful!
Swimming, sports and beach Weather or no weather, swimming is always possible at Camping Le Bois de Pleuven because you can choose between an indoor and an outdoor pool. For children there is a children's pool and of course the water slides that they cannot get enough of. No lack of exercise with the fitness room, the sports and tennis court and the sports tournaments organised by the animation team. And of course you plan a beach day now and then!
Explore Finistère From Le Bois de Pleuven you can go in all directions. View the authentic Breton villages in the area or explore the deeply cut coast with beautiful beaches (surfing!) And the beautiful Bay of Concarneau. This walled city is the third fishing port in France. Everything revolves around fishing (especially tuna) and you can see that! All sizes of fishing boats, shipyards and a fish auction. Good idea to buy fish here ... Not far from Le Bois de Pleuven you will find Quimper (pronunciation: kempèr). Stroll through the old centre of this truly Breton city where you will find (all kinds of) different half-timbered houses. Admire the Saint Corentin, the magnificent Gothic cathedral and the Musée Departemental Breton where you learn everything about Breton folklore. In addition, Quimper is known for the yellow-blue decorated Quimper pottery, nice as a souvenir!
