Plenty of waterfun! The photos of the water park say enough. Tropical palms, colourful flowers and swimming pools for all weather and ages. The kids do not get enough of the slides and hook themselves once at a session aqua gym. The restaurant which is located near the swimming pool has been renovated in 2018 and in the evening you can imagine yourself in the Caribbean in the middle of the palm trees and the beautiful lighting. After your typical Breton meal you walk straight to the bar where something always happens. Live concerts, karaoke or swinging during a dance evening. The children's club provides the necessary hours of entertainment for the little ones and at the teen club young people make friends for life. Beaches of the Côte Sauvage and strolling on Belle-Île Not far from Camping La Grande Métairie are several beaches where you can laze as well as practice various water sports. The waves are ideal for surfing! A day out? Near the Gulf of Morbihan lies the Quiberon peninsula. Rent a bike and discover the cliffs, jagged cliffs and sandy beaches. At Pointe du Percho you have a fantastic view over the Côte Sauvage, also called 'Tombolo'. From Quiberon you make a trip to Belle-Île for 85 km² of beauty, characteristic villages and ports to stroll. Near the campsite you will be amazed by the huge stones, also called menhirs. Carnac is known for this legend and to this day it is a mystery how those stones are put in place. Be enchanted in versatile Brittany!
Good to know In 2018 a large part of Camping La Grande Métairie has been renovated and several new facilities have been added.
Renovated: restaurant Bleu Lagoon, bar, games room, children's club, camping shop, reception, soccer field and tennis courts.
New: stage for performances, pedestrian zone, basketball court, library with reading corner and a chill zone for teenagers.
