I would recommend as there was plenty of beach, you could go to a different section each day. Plenty of beech bars and refreshments. Child friendly. Great camping facilities. Something on site for everyone. Worth venturing off resort to local village as food on resort expensive. Overall we had a great time and Select Camp reps were helpful. But, the staff at Solaris resort itself (not the Selectcamp staff) were generally fairly miserable and unhelpful. On our day of arrival we were told to entertain ourselves and not to return until 3-4pm. When we return we queued for about 1 and 1/2 hours before the staff told us we were in the wrong place and in a dismissing manner pointed us in the direction of the tents; this was not before taking our passports. We were also given the wrong information about the tourism tax and when collecting our passports had to pay twice as much as expected. Solaris reception staff overall, rude, unhelpful and real lack of customer services. Otherwise, great holiday thank you.Tips for surrounding area
The long stretch of beach and that there was different style to different sections. Camping facilities were good and very clean. The weather.
Great location, right on the beach. Good facilities for the children - swimming pools, the aquapark. Good restaurants and bars on the siteTips for surrounding area
We only went to the Krka National Park which was very good but busy.
friendly staff would have liked to be nearer aquapark as in within walking distance amenities spotless supermarket well stocked site was kept spotlessTips for surrounding area
didn't see much as my grandson is special needs and just wanted to go to the pool everyday and stay close to tent but for his first trip abroad he loved it and wants to come back
It is like staying on a 5 star resort but at a fraction of the price tagTips for surrounding area
We didn't venture out!
Great restaurants, lovely beaches with shadeTips for surrounding area
Krka National Park
It was a great resort with everything on site (although food & drink more expensive than nearby towns). Well equipped & good location.Tips for surrounding area
Sibenik, Krka & we travelled to Zadar & Split which were beautiful also.
I found the Camp Select staff very friendly and very helpful. But I would not rate the staff that belong to the resort the wifi was difficult at times and they weren't helpful if you were having problems and they weren't that busy. I have camped before alot throughout Europe and I found this site expensive to have a drink as in a glass of wine or a beer in the on site restaurants. We travelled to bars outside the resort and found people to be very friendly and food/drink prices very reasonable.Tips for surrounding area
Yes and the beach was lovely.
I just did
The location had something for everyone in the familyTips for surrounding area
Wonderful National park and towns
It is reasonably priced, the different levels of accomadation has something to suit everyone. The food is good. Could do with varying the menu resteraunt to resteraunt as felt exhausted it with in 1 week. The beach it clean and safe, could do with a few life guards though as i did witness a few incidents when the sea was rough. I do think the water park should be free to Solaris residents. I think Solaris was great and will definatley return.Tips for surrounding area
I liked visiting Sibernik town, it was lovely. The shopping center close by was good for supplies and filling time on rainy days.I took a few day trip to the islands, very cheap and beauiful.
