Attention animal lovers!
Camping Ferme Pédagogique de Prunay is a campsite that has retained its charming farmhouse and rural atmosphere. Small children will find everything their heart desires; farm animals, a swimming pool, a playground, but also a forest to build huts.
And here in the Val de Loire you also stumble across the most beautiful castles, rural markets and picturesque villages. That is fun for the parents!
Ready for farm adventures? At Camping Ferme de Prunay free children's bicycles are ready for the smallest guests who want to explore the area. First get to know all the animals at Ferme de Prunay. Have you ever stroked a chicken or sat on a donkey? Learn how to bake bread with the farmer or find branches together in the forest to build a hut. Or roast marshmallows over the campfire. On the warm summer days you can also splash into the swimming pool with your new holiday friends! Children with healthy red cheeks who fall asleep in the evening. What a holiday!
The famous Loire castles In the area of Ferme de Prunay you will find many castles. A small selection: Château de Blois, this royal castle now houses the Museum of Fine Arts. As you're in Blois anyway ... for magic journeys, Maison de Magie is a tip. Not suitable for very small children because once every half an hour the dragons cross their heads out of the building. For garden lovers: the fairytale Domaine de Chaumont sur Loire has the famous landscape garden, every year there is a garden festival and an art exhibition in the garden. Château de Chambord is an impressive spot with almost 400 towers, stay in the summer until the end of the afternoon because of the light show. The exhibition about Tintin and the secrets of Castle Molensloot can be found in Château Cheverny, which has been maintained by the same family for 6 centuries. Finally a showpiece: Château Amboise, there is a beautiful view over the Loire, in the chapel is Leonardo da Vinci buried. Have you seen enough castles?
